Landscape illumination is the most over-looked and poorly used feature in the landscape. Low-voltage lighting has been proven to increase safety and security while increase a home's value. The Everett family knew their front entry was due for an update. A narrow walk, over-grown plantings, and a dark entry was all visitors had to greet them as they parked in the driveway.

Stone Ridge Landscaping worked on designing an entry with excitement and interest. After several design revisions a plan was developed that allowed the walk to be widened, plantings replaced, and lighting expanded to welcome guests.

A combination of light fixtures creates depth and accents. Bullet fixtures were used to illuminate higher walls up to the second story.

Path lights illuminate the sidewalk to provide safe access to the front door during dark nights. Guests feel comfortable navigating the distance from the driveway to the entry.

Additional accent lighting was placed on the decorative wall to provide lighting architectural interest. An intricate lamp fixture was attached to the wall column nearest the drive. This fixture provides interest during the day and casts light across the drive at dusk.
