Position Description

Team Member Primarily working with landscape materials and hand tools while assisting Team Leaders in their projects. This position is typically FULL-TIME + Over Time, Year-Round unless other arrangements for internships, summer-work, flexible, etc have been made.

Working Hours

General hours are Monday-Friday 6:45 am - 5:30 pm with the potential for Saturdays. Some Saturdays may be required due to scheduling and weather conditions. Snow services may require holiday and Sunday work if/as needed. Actual working day varies due to the scopes and locations of work.

Position Description

Team Leader has prior experience applicable to planting & construction projects and works with minimal supervision. This  FULL-TIME + Over Time, Year-Round position  directs  the activities of a team of one or more members in the production and implementation of specific projects. Typical team sizes involve 3-5 team members. 

The Team Leader works as a member of the team while directing the team to accomplish projects on schedule, while maintaining a high quality product with great service to our clients. An ideal Team Leader will enjoy learning and increasing understanding to develop a broad understanding of multiple construction disciplines & achieve multiple endorsements within Stone Ridge Landscaping Inc. 

In addition to construction knowledge, the ability communicate clearly people skills and a moderate level of motivation. Stone Ridge is willing to work with the right candidate to boost their technical knowledge and know how to meet our expectations. Experience Desired

  • One-year experience in hardscape and/or landscape industry

  • Intermediate math understanding

  • Working knowledge of standard construction practices (excavation, masonry, woodworking, plumbing, electrical)

  • Working knowledge of standard horticultural practices (planting, pruning, corrective pruning, fertilization)

Certifications Desired

  • Landscape Industry Certified (CLT)

  • Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI)  Certification

  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL class A,B,C)
